Clients are growing rapidly, and our backup server has slowly reached its capacity. At the beginning of October, we implemented a new type of hybrid backup from Sun Microsystems. This expansion has increased the capacity of our external backup server by ten times, allowing us to offer backups from 60 to 90 days back.
Until now, we performed only daily data backups of the servers under our management. Now, all managed servers are also backed up twice a month as an image. In the event of a complete client server failure, we can elegantly and quickly restore the entire server from the image.
